The Strategic Plan Timeline
At the suggestion of the Faculty Strategic Planning Council, the college establishes a Strategic Planning Dialog Series.
- Session 1 – Navigating the FutureĀ of Higher Education: The Critical Role of Strategic Planning in a Changing Landscape
- Session 2 – Emerging Technologies and Culture: A Workshop on Establishing a Liberal Arts Center of Excellence
- Session 3 – The PC Institutional Master Plan: Implications for Strategic Re-Development of the College’s Footprint
The Cabinet approves the development of additional strategic planning sub-committees to help guide the Action Plan:
- Faculty Strategic Planning Council
- Financial Aid and Affordability
- Initiatives Working Group(s)
An updated document called Moving Forward: The PC200 Strategic Action Plan is presented during the Faculty Senate.
Office of Finance and Business conducts financial viability assessments of certain strategic initiatives.
PC200 Leadership Team condenses priorities for clarity and to remove duplication, identifies operational efforts, and crafts descriptive language for prioritization.
Cabinet provides assessment of 26 priorities to further refine operational initiatives.
Steering Committees identify 48 unique priorities to consider for implementation.
PC200 Leadership Team establishes four steering committees to inform The Strategic Action Plan:
- Academic Innovation
- Institutional Stewardship
- Holistic Well-Being and Belonging
- Access and Opportunity
A framework for validating the original PC200 strategic objectives and establishing priorities for the Strategic Action Plan is presented to the Board of Trustees.
